Creating meticulously calculated woven textiles, Andres Guerrero is an artist whose notion of perfection informs his practice. Weaving is an inherently mathematical method of creating and Andres uses the loom to create pieces that reflect a sense of calm symmetry. “I’m a perfectionist. Everything needs to be perfect.
My favorite things are weaving and setting up the looms.
I learned how to weave at Port City and I’ve had many helpers helping me along the way.”
