Vickie McDaniel

Inspired by her memories of a childhood spent on an Indian reservation, artist Vickie McDaniels navigates a disparate and disjointed urban community through her relationships and her art. Diverse hearts with in intent to neatly line up in organized rows, seem to break rules in McDaniels’ work.  Sweet and comforting, her pieces seek uniformity but often celebrate the unexpected.
