On Tuesday, February 22nd, Project Grow’s next Learn My Art workshop will feature the members of the Capoeira Angola Palmares of FoPo/NoPo teaching the Brazilian martial art.

Capoeira Angola is a dance on the edge of combat. The emphasis is not on winning or losing exactly, but on riding the pushes and strikes of the person one is dancing, or playing this game, with.
People can expect to dance, sing in Portuguese, and begin to play some music.

Wear loose fitting clothes. No shorts, or sweats. A white t-shirt with no logos is appropriate.

Project Grow’s Learn my Art workshops invite everyone to collaborate in this adventure and connect. Every last Tuesday of the month a different teacher will hold a workshop in their passion, curiosities, fetishes, their art.
