Join us Saturday, March 19th for a lecture by Judith Mowry of the Portland Office of Neighborhood Involvement. She will be speaking on gentrification in Northeast Portland, and will share what she has learned from facilitating the Restorative Listening Project during the last three years. The evening begins at 6:00 pm with music by Lynnae Gryffin, and the lecture will follow.
“Judith Mowry is the Effective Engagement Solutions program coordinator for the City of Portland’s Office of Neighborhood Involvement. Judith has been a mediator, facilitator and process design professional for the last 16 years and has worked extensively on issues regarding community development, and change. She has been facilitating the Restorative Listening Project for the last three years, which is based on the principles of restorative justice and seeks to make visible the impacts of gentrification on the African American community in Northeast Portland.”
