Join us at Project Grow on Monday June 27th for a natural dyeing workshop lead by Katelyn Toth-Fejel, co-director of the Permacouture Institute. Learn how to use Portland’s botanical resources for gorgeous natural dyes and create a summer scarf colored in seasonal hues. Dyes will include foraged city plants, food waste, and invasive species common to the Northwest. A great workshop for those interested in textiles and the craft of sustainable living.
Suggested sliding scale of $8-$15 but absolutely no one will be turned away. All supplies included.
Katelyn Toth-Fejel is co-director of the Permacouture Institute, a non-profit supporting regenerative fashion. Born in Portland, she now lives and works in London as a teacher and designer of sustainable textiles and fashion and spends every free moment experimenting with the urban plant life for color.
