Volunteer
Project Grow firmly believes that no matter what the challenges, anyone can thrive given a supportive and accepting environment. Unlike other similar art based programs, we do not prohibit individuals with severe behavioral issues to enroll. Often individuals require a focused one on one attention to surpass the obstacles presented by their unique challenges. Others simply learn faster, enjoy their time spent at the studio more, and are able to teach more if they are given the opportunity to work closely with people. Volunteers to Project Grow are immensely important to the mission of the program. Our volunteers are able to enact change at Project Grow, inspire growth, and contribute to the development of the program. We would like to empower those interested in working with us to be active participants of their experiences with us.
Most of our volunteers work closely with the artists as mentors, but we do welcome and appreciate volunteers on the farm and during special events or gallery preparations.
